S.I. No. 150/2006 - Official Languages Act 2003 (Public Bodies) Regulations 2006

(1)(a) of section 4 of, and paragraphs 1

(5)and 3 of the First Schedule to, the Official Languages Act 2003 (No. 32 of 2003) and with the consent of the Minister for Finance in so far as the Regulations are made under subsection

(1)(a) of that section and, to the extent that the Regulations relate to the respective functions of the Taoiseach, the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, the Minister for Health and Children, the Minister for Transport, the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, the Minister for Education and Science, the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, the Minister for Social and Family Affairs, the Minister for Defence, the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources and the Minister for Finance, with the consent of those Ministers of the Government, hereby make the following Regulations, with respect to which, pursuant to subsection

(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Official Languages Act 2003 (Public Bodies) Regulations 2006.

(2)These Regulations come into operation on 1 May

2. The bodies, organisations and groups specified in Schedule 1 to these Regulations are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 1

(5)of the First Schedule to the Official Languages Act 2003 (No. 32 of 2003). 3. Paragraph 1

(2)of the First Schedule to the Official Languages Act 2003 is amended by the deletion of the references to the agencies, boards and State companies specified in Schedule 2 to these Regulations. 1.
