No. 337/2006 - Bass (Restriction on Sale) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 AmendmentsLeasuithe SI No. 337 of 2006 Bass (Restriction on Sale) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 I, John Browne, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006), and the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2006 (No. 167 of 2006), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Bass (Restriction on Sale) (No. 2) Regulations 2006. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 July 2006 and shall cease to have effect from 30 June 2007. 3. In these Regulations: “Bass” means Dicentrarchus labrax. 4. No person shall sell or offer for sale bass other than bass that has been imported into the State. The effect of these Regulations is to prohibit the sale or offer for sale of bass (other than bass which has been imported into the State) from 1 July 2006 to 30 June 2007.
