No. 577 of 2006 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (UNDESIRABLE SUBSTANCES IN FEEDINGSTUFFS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2006 I, Mary Coughlan, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive No. 2005/86/EC of 5 December 20051 , Commission Directive No. 2005/87/EC of 5 December 20052 and Commission Directive 2006/13/EC of 3 February 20063 , hereby make the following regulations— 1.

(1)These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Undesirable Substances in Feedingstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations
  2. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Undesirable Substances in Feedingstuffs) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 317 of 2003 ).
  3. Regulation 2
(1)of the Principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the definition of “Directive” the following: “‘Directive’ means Directive No. 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 May 20024 as amended by Commission Directive No. 2003/57/EC of 17 June 20035 ; Commission Directive No. 2003/100/EC of 31 October 20036 ; Commission Directive 2005/8/EC of 27 January 20057 ; (from 26 December 2006) Commission Directive 2005/86/EC of 5 December 2005; (from 26 December 2006) Commission Directive 2005/87/EC of 5 December 2005 and Commission Directive 2006/13/EC of 3 February 2006.”. These Regulations give effect to the provisions of Commission Directive 2005/86/EC of 5 December 2005; Commission Directive 2005/87/EC of 5 December 2005 and Commission Directive 2006/13/EC of 3 February 2006 which amend Annex I and Annex II to Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on undesirable substances in animal feed. 1 O.J.
