No. 1/2007 - Electoral (Amendment) Act 2006 Registration of Electors (Entry in Postal Voters List) Order 2007 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6
(4)and
(5)(b) of the Electoral (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 33 of 2006), hereby orders as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Registration of Electors (Entry in Postal Voters List) Order
- The period for giving public notice under section 6
(4)(b) in respect of applications for entry in the postal voters list under section 2 for the register of electors published in the year 2006 shall be the period commencing on the 19th day of January 2007 and ending on the 26th day of January 2007. 3. The latest date for receiving applications under section 6
(4)(a) in respect of entry in the postal voters list under section 2 for the register of electors published in the year 2006 shall be the 14th day of February
- Applicants who have applied in accordance with the provisions of this Order for entry in the postal voters list under section 2 for the register of electors published in the year 2006 and whose applications are granted under section 6 shall, in lieu of being entered in that list, be duly entered in the postal voters list which comes into force immediately following that list ceasing to be in force.
