No. 110 of 2007 NATIONAL TREASURY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (STATE AUTHORITIES) ORDER 2007 I, BRIAN COWEN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the poweres conferred on me by paragraph (
- j)of the definition of “State authority” in section 7
(1)of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2000 (No. 39 of 2000), and with the consent of the Minister for Health and Children, hereby order as follows— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (State Authorities) Order 2007. 1.
(1)This order comes into operation on 22nd March
- The bodies specified in the Schedule are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (j) of the definition of “State authority” in section 7

This designation enables the delegation to the State Claims Agency of responsibility for the management of clinical negligence claims and risks incurred by the health bodies concerned.
