I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Fishery Harbour Centres Act 1968 (No. 18 of 1968) as amended by Section 86
(2)of the Harbours Act 1996 (and as adapted by the Marine and Natural Resources (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 307 of 2002 ), and with the consent of the Minister for Transport, hereby order as follows—
- This Order may be cited as the Fishery Harbour Centre (An Daingean) Order
- This Order comes into operation on 14th May
- The area defined in Article 4 of this Order is hereby declared to be a fishery harbour centre and is referred to in this Order as An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre.
- That part of An Daingean Harbour and of the land adjoining it within the outer margin of the red line in the map in the Schedule is hereby defined as the area of An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre.
- All the property (real or personal) in An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre of the Dingle Harbour Commissioners and all rights and liabilities of those Commissioners as managing authority for An Daingean Harbour in or relating to An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre are hereby transferred to the Minister. Article

- NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) This Order declares and defines the area of An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre and transfers to the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources on 14th May 2007 all the property, rights and liabilities of the Dingle Harbour Commissioners within the defined area. By virtue of section 86
(2)of the Harbours Act 1996 (No. 11) the Dingle Harbour Commissioners are dissolved on that day.
