I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive 2006/109/EC of 20 November 2006 1 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees Act 1996) (Amendment) Regulations 2007. 2. Section 10

(4)of the Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees Act 1996 is amended by substituting the following for paragraph (a): “(
  1. a)subject to paragraphs (
  2. b)and (c), the Body shall have not less than 3 members nor more than such number of members as equals the number of Member States for the time being, elected or appointed in accordance with this Act;”.
