I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive No. 2002/56/EC of 13 June 2002 1 , Commission Decision No. 2003/66/EC of 28 January 2003 2 and Council Directive No. 2003/61/EC of 18 June 2003 3 , hereby make the following regulations— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Seed Potatoes) (Amendment) Regulations 2007. 2. A reference made in the European Communities (Seed Potatoes) Regulations 1980 ( S.I. No. 343 of 1980 ) to a Directive repealed by Article 29 of Council Directive No. 2002/56/EC of 13 June 2002 (“the Consolidated Directive”) is construed as a reference to the Consolidated Directive and should be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in Annex V to the Consolidated Directive.
