No. 708 of 2007 LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AN CHOMHAIRLE LEABHARLANNA) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2007 Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in “Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th October, 2007. The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 79 of the Local Government Act, 2001 (No. 37 of 2001) hereby makes the following Regulations— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (An Chomhairle Leabharlanna) (Amendment) Regulations, 2007. 2. These Regulations, the Principal Regulations and the Regulations of 2003 shall be construed as one and cited together as the Local Government (An Chomhairle Leabharlanna) Regulations, 1997 to 2007. 3. These Regulations shall come into operation on 3rd September 2007. 4. In these Regulations, — the “Principal Regulations” means the Local Government (An Chomhairle Leabharlanna) Regulations, 1997 ( S.I. No. 499 of 1997 ) — the “Regulations of 2003” means the Local Government (An Chomhairle Leabharlanna) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003 ( S.I. No. 28 of 2003 ). 5. Article 5
(3)of the Principal Regulations, as amended by Article 5 of the Regulations of 2003, is hereby amended by substituting the following for subarticle 5
(3)(e): “5

No. 499 of 1997 ) by incorporating the new legislative nomenclature of the Board of the National Library of Ireland.
