I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision No. 2007/663/EC of 12 October 2007 1 , and Commision Decision No. 2007/664/EC of 12 October 20072 , hereby make the following Regulations— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Foot and Mouth Disease) (Restriction on imports from the United Kingdom) (No. 2) (Amendment) Regulations 2007. 2. The European Communities (Foot and Mouth Disease) (Restriction on imports from the United Kingdom) (No. 2) Regulations 2007 are amended— (
  4. a)in Regulation 2

(1), by the substitution for the definition of “Commission Decision”, of— ‘“Commission Decision” means Commission Decision No. 2007/554/EC of 9 August 2007, Commission Decision No. 2007/608/EC of 13 September 2007, Commission Decision No. 2007/663/EC of 12 October 2007, and Commission Decision No. 2007/664/EC of 12 October 2007;”, (b) by the deletion of Regulation 10
(1)(v), and (c) by the insertion, after Regulation 10
(3), of— “
(4)A person shall not bring a medicinal product, medical device manufactured utilising animal tissue, a veterinary medicinal product or an investigational medicinal product into the State from or through Great Britain unless the product is clearly labelled in accordance with Article 8
(7)of the Commission Decision and is accompanied by a commercial document that complies with that provision and relates to the product or device.”.
