I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1

(2)of the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act 2007 (No. 5 of 2007) (as adapted by the Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 706 of 2007 )) hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act 2007 (Commencement of Remaining Provisions) Order
  3. The 1st day of November 2007 is appointed as the day on which sections 4, 5, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19 of and the Schedule to the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act 2007 (No. 5 of 2007), come into operation.
  4. The 1st day of November 2007 is appointed as the day on which sections 9 and 10 of the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act 2007 come into operation, in so far as those sections are not already in operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 23 October 2007 EAMON RYAN, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) This Order commences the remaining provisions of the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act,
  5. It appoints the 1st of November as the day of bringing into operation the provisions of sections 4, 5, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19 of the Act and the Schedule to Act. It also commences the provisions of Sections 9 and 10 of the Act not already commenced by the Electricity Regulation (Amendment) (Single Electricity Market) Act 2007 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order S.I. No. 287 of 2007 .
