I, MICHAEL AHERN, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51
(2)of the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 31 of 2006) and the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 4) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 562 of 2007 ) hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (Certain Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2007. 2. The 13th day of December 2007 is appointed as the day on which the provisions of the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 31 of 2006) specified in the Schedule come into operation.
