  1. This Order may be cited as the Markets in Financial Instruments and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2007 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order

This Order provides for the commencement of section 19 of the Markets in Financial Instruments and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2007 on 1 February
  5. This Order follows the earlier Commencement Order made on 1 November 2007 ( S.I. No. 730 of 2007 ). Section 19 amends Part V of the Central Bank Act 1997 to provide for the authorisation and regulation of non-deposit taking lenders by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (the Financial Regulator).
