(2)(d) OF THE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS ACT 2007 . CRITERIA FOR THE COUNCIL WHEN CONSIDERING WHETHER TO RESTORE THE REGISTRATION OF A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER WHOSE REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
  1. The circumstances that led to cancellation of the Medical Practitioners Registration.
  2. The findings of the Fitness to Practise Committee and the reasons relied on by the Council for their decision to cancel the Medical Practitioners registration.
  3. Whether the Medical Practitioner has gained any insight into the matters that led to cancellation of his/her registration.
  4. What the Medical Practitioner has done since cancellation of his/her Registration.
  5. The steps taken by the Medical Practitioner to keep his/her medical knowledge and skills up to date.
  6. The steps that have been taken by the Medical Practitioner to rehabilitate professionally and/or socially.
