(15)of section 256G (inserted by paragraph (j) of section 3 of the Companies (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 45 of 2009)) of the Companies Act 1990 (No. 33 of 1990) (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 185 of 2010 )) and the Enterprise, Trade and Innovation (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 3) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 334 of 2010 ), and being satisfied as to the matters specified in the said subsection
(15), hereby make the following regulations:
- These Regulations may be cited as the Companies Act 1990 (Relevant Jurisdictions under Section 256G) Regulations
- Each of the places specified in the Schedule is prescribed as a relevant jurisdiction for the purposes of section 256G (inserted by paragraph (j) of section 3 of the Companies (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 45 of 2009)) of the Companies Act 1990 (No. 33 of 1990). These Regulations prescribe six jurisdictions as relevant jurisdictions for the purposes of the outward migrating funds mechanism contained in the Companies (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 . That mechanism allows certain collective investment fund companies currently based in Ireland to migrate their registered offices from Ireland without firstly having to wind up the Irish company.
