We, the Circuit Court Rules Committee, constituted pursuant to the provisions of section 69 of the Courts of Justice Act 1936 , and section 12 of the Courts of Justice Act 1947 , by virtue of the powers conferred on us by section 66 of the Courts of Justice Act 1924 and section 70 of the Courts of Justice Act 1936 , (as applied by section 48 of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act 1961 ) and section 27 of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act 1961 , and of all other powers enabling us in this behalf, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Justice and Law Reform, make the annexed Rules of Court. (1)These Rules may be cited as the Circuit Court Rules (Miscellaneous) 2010.
(2)These Rules shall be construed together with the Circuit Court Rules.
(3)The Circuit Court Rules as amended by these Rules may be cited as the Circuit Court Rules 2001 to
- The Circuit Court Rules are amended: (i) in Order 57, by the substitution in sub-rule
(2)of Rule 7 for the word and number “Form 36F” of the word and number “Form 36K”; (ii) in Order 59, by the substitution in sub-rule
(3)of Rule 5 for the word and number “Form 20” of the word and number “Form 2O”;
- The Circuit Court Rules (Protection of Employees (Part Time Work) Act 2001) 2004 ( S.I. No. 721 of 2004 ) as amended by the Circuit Court Rules (General) 2007 ( S.I. No. 312 of 2007 ) are amended by the substitution in paragraph 3 and in the form annexed thereto for the word and number “Form 36F” of the word and number “Form 36K”.
- The Circuit Court Rules (General) 2007 ( S.I. No. 312 of 2007 ) are amended in Schedule 2 thereto by the substitution in the form 14A in that Schedule for the word and number “Form 14A” of the word and number “Form 5A”.
- The Circuit Court Rules (Recording of Proceedings) 2008 ( S.I. No. 354 of 2008 ) are amended by the substitution in paragraph 3(a) of those Rules for the number “25” of the number “26”. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This does not form part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) These rules effect various amendments to numbering of provisions and forms identified as requiring correction in the Circuit Court Rules.
