I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 83
(1)of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (No. 27 of 2005), hereby make the following order:
- This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (Transfer Day) Order
- The 31st day of March 2011 is appointed as the transfer day for the purposes of Part 8 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (No. 27 of 2005). GIVEN under my Official Seal, 29 March
- JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health and Children. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation). This Order provides for 31st March 2011 to be the transfer day for the purposes of the dissolution of the National Social Work Qualifications Board (the Board) in accordance with the provisions of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 . The staff, property and liabilities of the Board, and any contractual arrangements or legal matters of which the Board is a party to, will transfer to the Health and Social Care Professionals Council with effect from the transfer day.
