(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2011.

(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on 11 April

2. The Diplomatic and Consular Fees Regulations 2001 ( S.I. No. 117 of 2001 ) (as amended by the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2010 ( S.I. No. 365 of 2010 ) are amended by the substitution of the Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations for Part 1 of the Second Schedule. SCHEDULE “Second Schedule” Part 1Passports and Travel Documents Reference Number Service Rendered Fee

(3)1 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 18 years or over. €95.00 2 For the issue of a passport of 66 pages to a person aged 18 years or over. €125.00 3 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person under 3 years of age. €31.00 4 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 3 years or over but under 18 years. €41.50 5 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 18 years or over through an arrangement for the express processing of passport applications entered into between the Minister and providers of postal services. €80 6 For the issue of a passport of 66 pages to a person aged 18 years or over through an arrangement for the express processing of passport applications entered into between the Minister and providers of postal services. €110 7 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person under 3 years of age through an arrangement for the express processing of passport applications entered into between the Minister and providers of postal services. €16 8 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 3 years or over but under 18 years through an arrangement for the express processing of passport applications entered into between the Minister and providers of postal services. €26.50 9 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 18 years or over through a diplomatic mission or consular post. €80.00 10 For the issue of a passport of 66 pages to a person aged 18 years or over through a diplomatic mission or consular post. €110.00 11 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person under 3 years of age through a diplomatic mission or consular post. €16.00 12 For the issue of a passport of 34 pages to a person aged 3 years or over but under 18 years through a diplomatic mission or consular post. €26.50 13 For the issue of an emergency passport to a person aged 18 years or over by the relevant Passport Office, diplomatic mission or consular post outside its normal hours of opening. (This fee is charged for any attendance on weekends and public holidays) In addition, the applicable fee specified at reference number 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 or 10 in this Part for the subsequent issue of a passport shall be payable. The fee specified at reference number 12 in the First Schedule to the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2001 (as amended by the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2004) shall not be charged for the issue of a passport in these circumstances €110.00 14 For the issue of an emergency passport to a person under 18 years of age by the relevant Passport Office, diplomatic mission or consular post outside its normal hours of opening. (This fee is charged for any attendance on weekends and public holidays) In addition, the applicable fee specified at reference number 3, 4, 7, 8, 11 or 12 in this Part for the subsequent issue of a passport shall be payable. The fee specified at reference number 12 in the First Schedule to the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2004 shall not be charged for the issue of a passport in these circumstances €55.00 15 For the issue of a passport to a person aged 18 years or over by the relevant Passport Office, diplomatic mission or consular post during normal hours of opening on the same day that the application was submitted or within five days after the application was submitted. In addition, the applicable fee specified at reference number 1,2, 5, 6 9 or 10 in this Part shall be payable €55.00 16 For the issue of a passport to a person under 18 years of age by the relevant Passport Office, diplomatic mission or consular post during normal hours of opening on the same day that the application was submitted or within five days after the application was submitted. In addition, the applicable fee specified at reference number 3, 4, 7, 8, 11 or 12 in this Part shall be payable €30.00 17 For the issue of an emergency travel certificate €15.00 18 For the issue of a European Union Emergency Travel Document, valid for a single journey Nil The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.
