I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Civil Partnership and Certain Rights and Obligations of Cohabitants Act 2010 (No. 24 of 2010) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011) ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), and having complied with subsection

(1)of that section, hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Partnership (Recognition of Registered Foreign Relationships) Order
  2. A class of legal relationship specified in column
(3)of the Schedule opposite a reference number specified in column
(1)of the Schedule, and entered into by two parties of the same sex, in the jurisdiction specified in column
(2)of the Schedule opposite the mention of that reference number in column
(1)of the Schedule, is declared to be entitled to be recognised as a civil partnership. Schedule Article 2 Reference Number
