(11)of section 34 of the Competition Act 2002 (No. 14 of 2002) (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 185 of 2010 )) and after consultation with the Minister for Transport, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Competition Act 2002 (Section 34
(11)) (National Transport Authority) Order
  2. Schedule 1 to the Competition Act 2002 (No. 14 of 2002) is amended— (a) by the addition, in column
(1), of “National Transport Authority” after the matter last mentioned in that column, and (b) in consequence of that amendment, by the addition, in column
(2), of “Minister for Transport” after the matter last mentioned in that column. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 22 February 2011. MARY HANAFIN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) Schedule 1 of the Competition Act 2002 specifies the statutory bodies who are required to enter into co-operation agreements with the Competition Authority as provided for in Section 34 of the Act. This Order adds the National Transport Authority to those bodies and requires the entering into of a co-operation agreement between the National Transport Authority and the Competition Authority.
