The Teaching Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Sections 4 and 23 of the Teaching Council Acts 2001 and 2006 (as amended by the Education (Amendment) Act 2012 ), with the consent of the Minister for Education and Skills, hereby makes the following regulations— Citation 1. These regulations may be cited as the “Teaching Council (Charging, Receipt and Recovery of Fees) Regulations 2012”. Application 2. These regulations shall come into force with effect from 1 January 2013. Fees 3. The fees set out in the Schedule to these regulations shall be charged, received and recovered by the Teaching Council in accordance with Section 23 of the Teaching Council Acts 2001 and 2006 (as amended by the Education (Amendment) Act 2012 ). Revocation 4. The Teaching Council (Charging, Receipt and Recovery of Fees) Regulations 2008 ( S.I. No. 609 of 2008 ) are hereby revoked.
