I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 42 (inserted by section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2006 (No. 23 of 2006) (as adapted by the Transport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 141 of 2011 ), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) (Fees) Regulations 2012. 2. The fees to be paid, with effect from 1 January 2013, to a licensing authority on the application to it— (
  4. a)for an Irish driving licence, (
  5. b)a learner permit, or (
  6. c)the exchange of a foreign driving licence for an Irish driving licence, in the circumstances referred to in column

(1)of Part 1 of the Schedule are as set out opposite in column
(2)of that Part. 3. The fees to be paid, with effect from 12 January 2013, to a licensing authority on the application to it in respect of any of the matters referred to in column
(1)of Part 2 of the Schedule are the fees set out opposite in column
(2)of that Part.
  1. Regulations 11 and 18 of the Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) Regulations 2006 ( S.I. No. 537 of 2006 ) are revoked with respect to applications in respect of a driving licence or learner permit referred to in Regulation 2, on 1 January
