I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Animal Health) (Adaptation) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and, subject to Regulations 3 and 4, are deemed to have come into operation on 24 March 2014. 2. The European Union (Animal Health) (Adaptation) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 112 of 2014) are amended— (

(4)”, (
  1. b)in Schedule 1, by the substitution for “348 of 2003” of “548 of 2003”, and (
  2. c)In Schedule 2, by— (
  3. i)the substitution at reference 43 for “100 of 2009” of “100 of 2008”, (
  4. ii)the substitution at reference 62 for “57 of 2011” of “57 of 2012”, (iii) the substitution at reference 66 for “Regulation 21” of “Regulation 23”, and (

Nothing in these Regulations purports to create a criminal offence or to revive criminal proceedings in respect of an event that occurred before the making of these Regulations. 4. For the avoidance of doubt, Regulation 4 of the European Union (Animal Health) (Adaptation) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 112 of 2014) is considered to have effect, and always to have had effect, as if the amendment effected by Regulation 2(
