I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15 of the Central Bank and Credit Institutions (Resolution) Act 2011 (No. 27 of 2011), having consulted with the Central Bank of Ireland and the Credit Union Advisory Committee, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy (Amendment) Regulations 2014. 2. The Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 381 of 2012 ) (as amended by the Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy Regulations 2013 ( S.I. No. 376 of 2013 )) are amended— (
- a)in Regulation 2— (
- i)in paragraph
(1), by substituting for the definition of “levy period” the following: “ ‘levy period’, in respect of credit institutions referred to at reference numbers 1 to 3 of the Schedule, means the period commencing on 1 October 2014 and ending on 31 December 2014, and, otherwise, means the period commencing on 1 October 2014 and ending on 30 September 2015.”, (ii) in paragraph
(2), by substituting “30 June 2014” for “28 June 2013” in each place where it occurs, and (iii) in paragraph
(3), by substituting “30 June 2014” for “30 June 2013”, (b) in Regulation 3
(1), by substituting “1 October 2014” for “1 October 2013”, (c) in Regulation 4
(1), by substituting “28 February 2015” for “28 February 2014”, and (
- d)in the Schedule— (
- i)at reference number 1, by substituting— (I) “30June 2014” for “28 June 2013” in each place where it occurs in column
(2), and (II) “€266.25”for “€1,065” in column
(3), (ii) at reference number 2, by substituting— (I) “30June 2014” for “28 June 2013” in each place where it occurs in column
(2), and (II) “€88.75”for “€355” in column
(3), and (iii) at reference number 3, by substituting— (I) “30June 2014” for “28 June 2013” in each place where it occurs in column
(2), and (II) “€23.75”for “€95” in column
