No.193/2011), hereby make the following regulations:— Citation 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.
(2)The Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No 226 of 2014 ) and these Regulations may be cited together as the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014 and 2015 and shall be construed together as one. Commencement
  1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 31 August
  2. Interpretation
  3. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations
  4. Amendment to the Principal Regulations
  5. The Principal Regulations are amended in Part 2 by substituting the following paragraph for paragraph 6
(3)(c): “which concludes no later than 10 days prior to the local authority budget meeting.” GIVEN under my Official Seal, 17 August 2015. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation) These Regulations amend the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014 by providing that the meeting at which municipal district members consider the draft budgetary plan must conclude no later than 10 days prior to the local authority budget meeting.
