I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1
(2)of the Criminal Justice (Forensic Evidence and DNA Database System) Act 2014 (No. 11 of 2014), hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Forensic Evidence and DNA Database System) Act 2014 (Commencement) Order
- The 20th day of November 2015 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Criminal Justice (Forensic Evidence and DNA Database System) Act 2014 (No. 11 of 2014) shall come into operation: (a) Part 1 insofar as it is not already in operation; (b) Parts 2 to 7; (c) Part 8, other than section 67
(2)(e); (
- d)Part 9, other than paragraph (
- f)of section 72
(2)insofar as that paragraph relates to Chapter 2 of Part 12; (
- e)Parts 10 and 11; (
- f)section 109 insofar as that section relates to Chapters 4 to 7 of Part 12; (
- g)Chapter 4 of Part 12 insofar as that Chapter relates to an Article 7 request within the meaning of that Chapter; (
- h)Chapters 5, 6 and 7 of Part 12; (
