I, GERALD NASH, Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(2)of section 12 of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 (No. 34 of 2013) and the Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2014 ( S.I. No. 476 of 2014 ) (amended by the Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2015 ( S.I. No. 173 of 2015 )) and the Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2015 ( S.I. No. 426 of 2015 ) hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Construction Contracts Act 2013 (Appointed Day) Order 2016. 2. The 25th day of July 2016 is appointed pursuant to section 12
(2)of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 (No. 34 of 2013) and that Act shall apply in relation to construction contracts entered into after that date. GIVEN under my hand, 13 April 2016.
