I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 36 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), for the purpose of inter alia, giving further effect to Article 71 of Directive 2001/82/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 6 November 20011 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Control on Animal Vaccines (Amendment) Regulations 2016. 2. The Control on Animal Vaccines Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 193 of 2014 ) (as amended by the Control on Animal Vaccines (Amendment) Regulations 2014) ( S.I. No. 590 of 2014 )) are amended in Part 1 of the Second Schedule by deleting the following— “Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) Type 2” 3.
