(1)of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2016. 2. The powers and duties of the Taoiseach conferred on him by or under— (
- a)the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993), and (
- b)the Civil Service Regulation Acts 1956 to 2005 and the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 (No. 33 of 2004), in so far as those Acts relate to the Central Statistics Office, are delegated to Regina Doherty, Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach.
