I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 59 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006) and the Sea Fisheries, Foreshore and Dumping at Sea (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 707 of 2007 ) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 )), and after consultation with the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby make the following scheme: 1.
(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority Superannuation Scheme 2016.
(2)This Scheme comes into operation on 28 June
- The Rules set out in the Schedule to the Rules for Pre-Existing Public Service Pension Scheme Members Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 582 of 2014 ) shall apply in respect of the granting of superannuation benefits to a member of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority or in respect of a member of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority ceasing to hold office. The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform consents to the making of this Scheme. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 28 June
