The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006), with the approval of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, given with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby makes the following scheme: 1. 4. i)This Scheme may be cited as the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (Employees) Superannuation Scheme 2016. (
5. ii)This Scheme comes into operation on 28 June 2016. 2. The rules set out in the Schedule to the Rules for Pre-Existing Public Service Pension Scheme Members Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 582 of 2014 ) are adopted as a scheme for the granting of superannuation benefits on retirement or death to or in respect of members of the staff of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority. 3. The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority Staff Superannuation Scheme 2013 is hereby revoked upon the commencement of this Scheme.
