I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 21 of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (No. 5 of 2015), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (Fixed Payment Notice) Regulations 2016. 2. These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2017. 3. The form set out in the Schedule is prescribed as the form of a fixed payment notice for the purposes of section 21

  2. It is alleged that you have committed an offence under section 20
(1)of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 (No. 5 of 2015). Details of the alleged offence are set out in the table below. Details of the offence:
  1. You may during the period of 21 days beginning on the date of this notice make a payment of the amount of €200 to the Standards in Public Office Commission at 18 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2, D02 HE97, accompanied by this notice, or by using the payment system provided for on www.lobbying.ie. A receipt will be issued.
  2. You are not obliged to make the payment specified in this notice. However, if you do not make the payment during the period of 21 days beginning on the date of this notice a prosecution in relation to the alleged offence may be instituted.
  3. A prosecution in respect of the alleged offence will not be instituted during the period of 21 days beginning on the date of this notice. If the payment of €200 specified in this notice is made during that period no prosecution in respect of the alleged offence will be instituted.
