I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2205 of 6 August 20151 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/592 of 1 March 20162 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (European Market Infrastructure)(Amendment) Regulations 2016. 2. The European Union (European Markets Infrastructure) Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 443 of 2014 ) are amended in Regulation 2
(1)in the definition of “prescribed contravention” by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (b): “(
- b)a provision of— (
- i)Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 148/2013 of 19 December 20123 , (
- ii)Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 149/2013 of 19 December 20124 , (iii) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1247/2012 of 19 December 20125 , (
