(7)of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 , and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby adopt the Rules for Pre-Existing Public Service Pension Scheme Members set out in S.I. No. 582 of 2014 for the purpose of the making of a Supperannuation Scheme for the Workplace Relations Commission Director General. 1.
(1)These Rules may be cited as the Workplace Relations Commission Director General Superannuation Scheme 2016.
(2)This Scheme shall be deemed to have commenced with effect from the 1st day of December 2016, which shall be known as the date of Commencement.
  1. The Rules set out in the Schedule to the Rules for Pre-Existing Public Service Pension Scheme Members Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 582 of 2014 ) are adopted as a Scheme for the granting of superannuation benefits to or in respect of the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission.
  2. The Labour Relations Commission CEO Superannuation Scheme 1991 is revoked upon the commencement of this Scheme. The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation hereby approves the making of the above Scheme. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 1 December
