I, DENIS NAUGHTEN, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 , 5 , 7 , 9 , 10 , 11 , 14 , 18 , 19 , 27 , 28 , 29 , 32 , 34 , 36 and 39 of the Waste Management Act 1996 as amended hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Waste Management (Tyres and Waste Tyres) (Amendment) Regulations 2017. 2. The Waste Management (Tyres and Waste Tyres) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 400 of 2017) are amended by—

(1)in regulation 10 by the substitution of the following for 10
(6): “An application for registration in accordance with paragraphs
(1)and
(2)shall be accompanied by a copy of a valid membership certificate granted in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 20(d).
