I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 14 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006) and the Sea Fisheries, Foreshore and Dumping at Sea (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 707 of 2007 ) (as adapted by the Agriculture and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 )), for the purpose of giving further effect to Article 15 of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 20131 and effect to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/190 of 24 November 20172 hereby make the following regulations: Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Common Fisheries Policy) (Landing Obligation) (Amendment) Regulations 2018. 2. The European Union (Common Fisheries Policy) (Landing Obligation) Regulations 2015 ( S.I. No. 83 of 2015 ) are amended by substituting- (
  4. a)in Regulation 3 the definition of “Commission Regulation” for the following: ““Commission Regulation” means Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1393/2014 of 20 October 2014 as amended by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/190 of 24 November 2017.”, and (
  5. b)Regulation 6 for the following: “A master of a sea fishing boat shall comply with the de minimis rules set out in Article 3a of the Commission Regulation.”. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) These regulations amend the European Union (Common Fisheries Policy) (Landing Obligation) Regulations 2015 ( S.I.
