I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1

(4)of the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (No.30 of 2017), hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (Part 4) (Commencement) Order
  2. In this Order, “Act of 2017” means the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (No. 30 of 2017).
  3. The [3rd] day of July 2018 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2017 come into operation: (a) section 11 of the Act of 2017; (b) section 22 of the Act of 2017 in so far as it relates to the making of regulations to provide for prescribing the form of— (i) the statements referred to in sections 16
(5), 17
(3), 17
(5), 18
(6), 19
(2)(e)(i), 19
(5)and 20
(4)of that Act, and (ii) the note referred to in section 17
(6)(i) of that Act.
  1. The 22nd day of September 2018 is appointed as the day on which Part 4 of the Act of 2017, insofar as it is not already in operation, comes into operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 3 July
