The Private Security Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 51 (as amended by section 15 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (No. 23 of 2011)) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004), with the consent of the Minister for Justice and Equality, hereby makes the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Security (Licensing and Standards) (Cash In Transit) (Amendment) Regulations 2018. 2. These Regulations come into operation on 1st September 2018. 3. The Private Security (Licensing and Standards) (Cash In Transit) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 857 of 2007 ) are amended by the substitution of the following for Regulation 5 “PSA Licensing Requirements — Cash In Transit (PSA 76:2018) shall be observed by the licensee.” The Minister for Justice and Equality consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. They prescribe a new quality management standard for Cash-In-Transit contractors and replaces the standard IS 998:2006 in S.I. 857 of 2007.
