An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna, after making such inquiries as it thinks proper and consultation with organisations and associations appearing to it to be representative of substantial numbers of employers in the activities referred to in this Order and of substantial numbers of persons employed in such activities, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Industrial Training Act 1967 (No. 5 of 1967) and by section 38 of the Further Education and Training Act 2013 (No. 25 of 2013) hereby makes the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Training (Sales Industry) Order 2019. 2. The following activities are hereby declared to be designated industrial activities for the purposes of the Industrial Training Act 1967 (No. 5 of 1967): (
4. a)the selling of goods and/or services to customers; (
5. b)the management of relationships with prospective and existing customers; and (
6. c)the planning, forecasting and management of sales and sales targets. 3. The provisions of this Order shall not apply to any activity of industry for which a separate industrial training order is, for the time being, in force.
