I, Michael Creed, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive (EU) 2020/177 of 11 February 20201 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material) (Amendment) Regulations 2020. 2. The European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 384 of 2011 ) are amended in Regulation 2
(1)by substituting for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 29 of 2020), the following – “‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2008/90/EC of 29 September 20082 (as amended by Regulation (EU) No 652/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 20143 , Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/159 of 4 February 20164 , Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1887 of 24 October 20165 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/120 of 24 January 20196 , Commission Implementing Directive 2014/96/EU of 15 October 20147 , Commission Implementing Directive 2014/97/EU of 15 October 20148 and Commission Implementing Directive 2014/98/EU of 15 October 20149 (as amended by Commission Directive (EU) 2020/177 of 11 February 2020); ”.
