The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 42 of the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (No. 34 of 2017), being satisfied that subsection

(6)of that section has been complied with; having complied with subsection
(9)of that section; having had regard to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (e) of subsection
(10)of that section, with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby makes the following regulations:
  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (Section 42) (Payments in Respect of Certain Services Rendered in Response to the Risk to Public Health Posed by Covid-19) (Amendment) Regulations
  3. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” mean the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (Section 42) (Payments in Respect of Certain Services Rendered in Response to the Risk to Public Health Posed by Covid-19) Regulations 2020 ( S.I. No. 101 of 2020 ).
  4. Regulation 4 shall come into operation on the date of the making of these Regulations.
  5. The amount of the payment specified in column
(3)of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations opposite reference number 2 in column
(1)is amended by the substitution of “€13.88” for “€41.63”.
  1. The Principal Regulations shall be revoked on the 10th day of August
