I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 18

(3)of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 23 of 2014), following consultation with the National Treasury Management Agency, the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and the Minister for Transport, and considering that it is in the financial interests of the State to do so, hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (Designated Bodies) Order
  3. In this Order “Córas Iompair Éireann” means the board established by section 5 of the Transport Act 1950 (No. 12 of 1950).
  4. In this Order “Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail”, “Bus Éireann – Irish Bus” and “Bus Átha Cliath – Dublin Bus” mean the companies formed pursuant to section 6 of the Transport (Re-organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act 1986 (No. 31 of 1986), the names of which were assigned, respectively, by section 7
(1)(a), (
  1. b)and (
  2. c)of that Act. 4. In this Order “Dublin Port Company”, “Port of Cork Company” and “Port of Waterford Company” mean the companies formed pursuant to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), the names of which were assigned by section 8 of, and the First Schedule to, that Act. 5. In this Order “Shannon Foynes Port Company” means the company of that name formed for the purposes of the Harbours Acts 1996 and 2000 (Transfer of Functions of Foynes Port Company and Shannon Estuary Ports Company) Order 2000 ( S.I. No. 283 of 2000 ) pursuant to section 43 (inserted by the Harbours (Amendment) Act 2000 (No. 21 of 2000)) of the Harbours Act 1996 . 6. In this Order “daa, public limited company” means the company of that name referred to in section 32 of the State Airports (Shannon Group) Act 2014 (No. 27 of 2014). 7. In this Order “The Irish Aviation Authority” means the company formed pursuant to section 11 of the Irish Aviation Authority Act 1993 (No. 29 of 1993), the name of which was assigned by section 12 of that Act. 8. In this Order “Shannon Group, public limited company” means the company formed pursuant to section 6
(1)of the State Airports (Shannon Group) Act 2014 , the name of which was assigned by section 6
(2)of that Act.
  1. Córas Iompair Éireann, Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail, Bus Éireann – Irish Bus, Bus Átha Cliath – Dublin Bus, Dublin Port Company, Port of Cork Company, Port of Waterford Company, Shannon Foynes Port Company, daa, public limited company, The Irish Aviation Authority and Shannon Group, public limited company shall each be a designated body for the purposes of Part 3 of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 23 of 2014).
