I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1

(5)of the Electoral Reform Act 2022 (No. 30 of 2022), hereby order as follows:
  1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Reform Act 2022 (Commencement) Order
  3. The 13th day of October 2022 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Electoral Reform Act 2022 (No. 30 of 2022) shall come into operation: (a) Part 1, other than – (i) section 3, (ii) paragraphs (h) to (k) of subsection
(1)of section 4, and (iii) subsections
(3)and
(4)of section 4; (
  1. b)Chapter 1 of Part 2 and sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 19 and 21 of Chapter 3 of Part 2; (
  2. c)Part 3 (other than section 98); (
  3. d)Part 6; (
