I, RODERIC O’GORMAN Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9
(1)of the Institutional Burials Act 2022 (No. 18 of 2022), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Institutional Burials Act 2022 (Establishment of Office of Director of Authorised Intervention, Tuam) Order 2023. 2. (
- a)The 20th day of March 2023 is appointed as the day on which an Office of Director of Authorised Intervention shall stand established. (
- b)The Office of Director of Authorised Intervention established under paragraph (
- a)shall continue in operation for a period of 30 months from the date that Office stands established under that paragraph. (
- c)The Director shall be called and known as the Director of Authorised Intervention, Tuam. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 2 March, 2023.
