I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 , 9 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 15 , 18 , 19 , 21 , 22 , 23 , 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 , 31 , 32 , 33 , 34 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 39 , 40 , 41 , 43 , 44 , 45 , 46 , 47 , 50 and 63 of the Employment Permits Act 2024 (No. 17 of 2024), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2024. 2. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the Employment Permits Regulations 2024 ( S.I No. 444 of 2024 ). 3. These Regulations come into operation on 17 January 2025. 4. Regulation 38(

5. a)by substituting “€30,000” for “€27,000”, and (

These Regulations amend the Employment Permits Regulations 2024 to change the minimum annual remuneration and minimum hourly rate of remuneration under general employment permits granted for employment as a health care assistant, a care worker or a home carer. These Regulations may be cited as the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2024.
