I, MARTIN HEYDON, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2025/145 of 29 January 20251 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material) (Amendment) Regulations 2025. 2. The European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Plant Propagating Material) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 384 of 2011 ) are amended in Regulation 2

(1)by substituting for the definition of “Directive”, the following – “‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2008/90/EC of 29 September 20082 (as amended by Regulation (EU) No 652/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 20143 , Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/159 of 4 February 20164 , Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1887 of 24 October 20165 , Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/120 of 24 January 20196 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1933 of 12 October 20227 ),Commission Implementing Directive 2014/96/EU of 15 October 20148 (as amended by Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1813 of 29 October 20199 ), Commission Implementing Directive 2014/97/EU of 15 October 201410 and Commission Implementing Directive 2014/98/EU of 15 October 201411 (as amended by Commission Directive (EU) 2020/177 of 11 February 202012 , Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2022/2438 of 12 December 202213 and Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2025/145 of 29 January 2025);”.
