  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Planning and Development (Prescribed Persons - Statutory Plans) Regulations
  2. Definition
  3. In these Regulations “Act” means Planning and Development Act 2024 (No. 34 of 2024). Prescribed persons for purposes of sections 31
(1)(b)(vii) of Act and 34
(3)(h) of Act 3. The following persons are prescribed for the purposes of sections 31
(1)(b)(vii) and 34
(3)(
  1. h)of the Act, namely— (
  2. a)An Chomhairle Ealaíon, (
  3. b)the Commission, (
  4. c)the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland, (
  5. d)daa, public limited company, (
  6. e)EirGrid, (
  7. f)Electricity Supply Board, (
  8. g)Enterprise Ireland, (
  9. h)the Environmental Protection Agency, (
  10. i)Fáilte Ireland, (
  11. j)Gas Networks Ireland, (
  12. k)the Health Service Executive, (
  13. l)the Heritage Council, (
  14. m)the Health and Safety Authority, (
  15. n)Irish Air Navigation Service, (
  16. o)the Industrial Development Agency (Ireland), (
  17. p)Inland Fisheries Ireland, (
  18. q)the Land Development Agency, (
  19. r)the Marine Institute, (
  20. s)in the case of a regional assembly whose functional area borders Northern Ireland, any planning authority in Northern Ireland whose functional area is contiguous to the area of the regional assembly, (
  21. t)the National Disability Authority, (
  22. u)in the case of the regional assembly for the Southern Region, Shannon Group, public limited company, (
  23. v)Sport Ireland, (
  24. w)An Taisce — the National Trust for Ireland, (
  25. x)Transport Infrastructure Ireland, (
  26. y)Uisce Éireann, (
  27. z)in the case of a regional assembly whose functional area contains a body of water for which the Loughs Agency has responsibility under the remit of the Loughs Agency, that Agency and (
  28. aa)where a port is in operation within the functional area of a regional assembly, the operator of that port. Prescribed bodies for purposes of sections 54

  26. y)in the case of a planning authority any part of whose functional area is situated within the vicinity of Shannon Airport, Shannon Group, public limited company, (

  31. ad)Waterways Ireland. Prescribed persons for purposes of section 75
(5)(a)(viii) of Act 5. The following persons are prescribed for the purposes of section 75
(5)(a)(viii) of the Act, namely— (

  2. b)the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland, (
  3. c)Enterprise Ireland, (
  4. d)the Environmental Protection Agency, (
