I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(5)of section 10 of the Finance (Provision of Access to Cash Infrastructure) Act 2025 (No. 4 of 2025), and having consulted with the Central Bank of Ireland and taken account of the matters specified in the said subsection
(5), hereby make the following order: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Finance (Provision of Access to Cash Infrastructure) Act 2025 (Section 10) Order 2025.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on 28 November
- In this Order, “Act of 2025” means the Finance (Provision of Access to Cash Infrastructure) Act 2025 (No. 4 of 2025).
- The amount of 6 per cent of the total number of current accounts in the State of a credit institution is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of section 10
(5)of the Act of
- The amount of 7.5 per cent of the total value of household deposits of a credit institution is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (b) of section 10
(5)of the Act of
