I, JENNIFER CARROLL MACNEILL, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 36 of the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009 (No. 15 of 2009), being satisfied that subsection 5A(
4. a)of that section has been complied with and having complied with subsection 5A(
5. b)of that section, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009 (Relevant Payments) Regulations 2025. 2. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 9 August 2024. 3. In these Regulations “the Act of 2009” means the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009 (No. 15 of 2009). 4. The classes of ex gratia payment or payments specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (
6. f)of the definition of “relevant payment” in paragraph 1 of Part 3 of Schedule 1 of the Act of 2009. SCHEDULE 1. A payment or payments made to the person under the Residential Institutions Redress Acts 2002 to 2011. 2. A payment or payments made to the person under the terms of the Stardust ex gratia Redress Scheme 2024 and otherwise referred to as the Stardust Redress Scheme.
