(1)This Order may be cited as the International Protection Act 2026 (Section 17) (Designation of Verifying Authority) Order 2026.
(2)This Order shall come into force on 12th June
- The Assistant Garda Commissioner with responsibility for the Garda National Crime and Security Intelligence Service is designated as the verifying authority in the State for the purposes of Article 6 of the Eurodac Regulation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 11 June,
